How this is written
Every number has a source
Rates, fines and performance figures link to where they came from. Where sources disagree, we say so and explain which we trust.
We correct things publicly
We published a UAE fine figure that was too low and fixed it, and we say plainly that widely quoted half-million dirham penalties apply to different offences entirely.
No invented data
Where we do not have marketplace data for a market, we cite published benchmarks and label them as such rather than dressing estimates up as our own numbers.
